Major Introduction
-
Currently, our society needs new-color talent full of imagination and creativity, who can cope with a rapidly changing environment based on creative and autonomous abilities, who can integrate or integrate diverse academic thinking, and who are full of imagination and creativity. In order to meet these social demands, universities must provide students with opportunities to explore a variety of disciplines and majors, as well as opportunities for students to discover their own aptitudes, interests, and talents, as well as their own potential and vision for the future. We must provide a process that allows people to find it on their own. Taking these points into consideration, the newly established department is the Division of Undeclared and Exploratory Majors.
In the Division of Undeclared and Exploratory Majors, students are not affiliated with a specific major area (college) and enroll without distinction between liberal arts and sciences, explore their aptitude during one year of college life, experience various academic areas, and then develop their own aptitude before entering their second year. It is a department with a curriculum that allows students to choose between two major tracks according to their career path, regardless of college or university.
Those who have entered the Division of Undeclared and Exploratory Majors, where you can choose to major in an academic field beyond the liberal arts and sciences in a convergent, linked, or complementary way, are an important first step toward becoming creative and convergent talents needed by the future. It is a step forward. Now you will be able to design tomorrow's world with today's imagination.
